Waterproofing
Using the reputable Kerdi waterproofing shower system, we ensure that your bathroom remodel will last for years to come. Leaky showers can cause serious damage, and often require a complete renovation to fix even a small leak. At DM Knapp Construction, we take those details seriously, and deliver fully waterproof showers to every customer, every time.
Tile
Tile offers a beautiful, custom finish for your shower, though it is typically more expensive per square foot than a solid surface shower. With countless styles, colors, and patterns available, tile allows you to create the exact look you want.
For all tiled showers and floors, we use Schluter Kerdi waterproofing products. Schluter Systems is the manufacturer of the Kerdi product line, which provides a fully waterproof system behind the tile. When installed properly, Schluter Kerdi products include a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty, providing long-term protection and peace of mind.
For Onyx showers and vanity tops, the Onyx product also includes a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty.
Solid Surface
Solid surface showers are less expensive for bases and walls. They are durable and easy to clean. We use the Onyx Collection for solid surface waterproof shower installations, which has a great reputation and warranty.
Soap Niches
Recessed niches can be fully customized to fit your vision. They can be any shape and size, and serve as a seamless way to store shower essentials like soap, shampoo and more. Corner niches are usually made of Onyx and can be mounted on the shower in the corner to give your newly remodeled shower full functionality.
Benches
Benches can be fully customized to fit your shower remodel goals. From Onyx solid surface to tile benches, you can get the size, style and functionality you’re looking for.
Glass Enclosure
There are two primary types of glass enclosures for showers—sliding glass doors and custom enclosures. Today’s sliding glass doors are very sleek and often frameless, giving your shower a beautiful finish without breaking the budget. Custom glass enclosures are more expensive, but can be any shape and completely frameless for a high-end look.

Depending on the size of your shower, we can install the right shower head(s) to meet your family’s preferences.
